Crommelin Blackseal Heavy Duty Water Based Bitumen is a high-performance, water-borne bitumen waterproofing membrane designed for robust protection in below-ground applications. This heavy-duty, economical solution is ideal for waterproofing retaining walls, planter boxes, timber posts, and other non-UV exposed surfaces. The membrane offers excellent waterproof performance, remaining permanently flexible and watertight under permanently wet conditions. It prevents moisture-related damage such as efflorescence, mould growth, staining, and paint peeling, with superior adhesion to various substrates. Easy to apply using a brush or roller, the product requires two coats applied at 90-degree angles, with each coat allowing 30 minutes of drying time. Non-toxic and non-flammable, Blackseal can be diluted up to 50% with water to create a bitumen paint and is suitable for home DIY projects.
