The Crommelin Flexible Reinforcing Bond Breaking Tape is a 100mm wide self-adhesive non-woven polyester fabric designed for waterproofing applications. This specialized tape features a unique design with a self-adhesive central portion that acts as a bond-breaker over joints, allowing for movement and flexibility in waterproofing systems. When used with Crommelin liquid applied waterproofing membranes, it meets the requirements of AS 3740 "Waterproofing of Wet Areas Within Residential Buildings". The tape offers multiple benefits including breaking the bond of membrane systems to allow joint movement, bridging gaps, strengthening membranes by increasing tensile strength and puncture resistance, and remaining permanently flexible. It is particularly suitable for internal and external surfaces, providing a robust solution for preventing membrane cracking due to structural movements.
